What made you come to the Bay Business Community?
“I came in to visit and catch up with my friend Anthony Smith (Bay Business Community Co-Director). During my visit I asked for a tour of the office because its design caught my eye as soon as I entered the office, once having seen the facilities and all its amenities I immediately asked where I could sign up.”
How have you found it so far?
“I have found it great not only because of the convenience of parking being close by, now only having a short walk to work, but the facilities are brilliant, from the kitchen to the meeting rooms. I have also seen an improvement on my mental health and work efficiency from now being able to separate my work and personal life, creating a great balance.”
How have you seen your business life change since joining Bay Business Community?
“Since joining the Bay Business Community I have become much more proactive and have seen my efficiency during work hours increase significantly. Not only has joining the Bay Business Community helped boost my company’s output, but I also really enjoy the networking opportunities Bay Business Community offers and these interactions with my office colleagues have been very advantageous for my business.”
What were some of the preconceptions you had of a coworking space and how do you feel about them now?
“One of the preconceptions I had before working in a coworking area were the costs and whether it was financially worth becoming a Bay Business Community member. Since then, however I have worked out that the costs of working from the Bay Business Community were otherwise spent on my morning coffees and teas which are included in the membership fee. Also, the membership costs are tax deductible and so I am getting close to working out a profit since becoming a Bay Business Community member.”
What are the advantages for your business of being in a shared workspace?
“The main advantage I have found from working in the Bay Business Community office is the possibility of getting work and building connections with like-minded businesses around me and helping each other excel in the commercial world. The second noteworthy advantage is that Bay Business Community is located above Progression Solicitors and how we as Bay Business Community members have access to Progression’s reception and meeting rooms, and the quality of legal meeting rooms and reception areas are something that you cannot find in other coworking spaces.”
